Hapkido is a Korean martial art.
The word hapkido translates to - “art of coordinated power.”
HAP - means harmony or coordination,
KI - means power, and
DO - means path of discipline.
Hapkido is a dynamic and effective martial art which is aimed at self defence. Punching, kicking, throwing, joint-locking and grappling are the main techniques of the art.

We recommend you come in about 10 minutes early so we can have a quick chat. One of our instructors will greet you and explain how class will work. When class starts, you will do a short warm up and then get into it.
Wear something loose that you feel comfortable in. T-shirt and shorts are fine.
Yes Definitely. Young or old any one can do this. We encourage you to work to your level of fitness and physical abilities.
Training in the practice of Hapkido for over 25yrs originally under the instruction of Grandmaster Geoff Booth in Sydney, Master Elias has also travelled to the USA on many occasions and has trained extensively With Grandmaster Ji Han Jae. He has also competed in multiple demonstration teams & events both in Australia and the USA. He was part of the famous street Lethal Demo team which competed against the worlds best at the 1998 Arnold Classic in Columbus Ohio. He has acquired a great number of skills and is a wealth of knowledge in Hapkido. Master Elias is a great instructor and looks forward to seeing you soon on the mats.

Training in the practice of Hapkido for over 25 yrs, was also under the instruction of Grandmaster Geoff Booth until moving to Qld where he began training under the instruction of Master Angus Uebergang. Instructor Darren has also competed in Demonstration and technique team demonstrations in Australia and in two championships in Korea, and competed in sparring championships in Korea.
